Outdoor Guide
ABOUT ME
I was born in Montana but I grew up in Laramie, Wyoming where I spent endless time playing in the outdoors while getting lost in my imagination. My family took advantage of school holidays by exploring national parks, wilderness areas and monuments throughout the US looking for opportunities to go mountain biking, climbing and hiking among other things.
Due to the adventurous, outdoor lifestyle that I experienced growing up, I subsequently traveled internationally to explore different cultures and landscapes. I learned the importance of living simply and to value enriching friendships and experiences more than the accumulation of material possessions. Furthermore, I realized one of my greatest strengths and something I truly enjoy doing is introducing others to beautiful and natural landscapes.
I regularly practice yoga and meditation to maintain a healthy body and mind. This not only benefits me but other people that I interact with in both personal and professional environments. A key long-term goal of mine is to be part of healthy, supportive communities where outdoor lifestyles are encouraged and associates with positive change.
I studied Parks, Tourism and Recreation Management at the University of Montana and am currently spending the holiday season in Laramie, Wyoming after traveling for 4 years. I have worked seasonally in the outdoor industry and traveled internationally since graduating college in May of 2013. To read further about my work experience please click here.
